[JAPAN] Yokohama Sights

Hi everyone,

Terribly sorry that I haven’t been a good blogger these couple of months (˘̩̩ᴗ˘̩̩ƪ).

I have so many stories to share but no time to blog. No time for take a picture. I don’t even have the time for instagram too. #SAD

I used to check my instagram feed 24/7 following the trends and news. But now, the moment I wake up, I have to rush and work at my mom shop, controlling my brother’s gallery, check all of the payment of my customers, stock, serve walk-in customer. Then after about 9pm, I finally have some times for watching movies in cinemas, hang out with my boy friends for dinner. Now, that 4 hours away from closing is the happiest time of my day.  Because mostly I sleep around 00.00  – 01.00 am.

On the first day we arrived at Tokyo, we are separated into three groups. All of this groups have a different schedule and different destinations from one each other. Each groups only contains two people’s, Neil with Sam going to Sapporo and Hakodate , Jae with Film going to Fukuoka and Kummamoto and  as for me with Murasaki, we are going to  Kyoto and Toyama! Yipieee!!!..

But wait we still have a little time for strolling around! So, we gonna stopped by in Yokohama for a couple of hours!!

Our first stop in Yokohama was the Yamashita Park. This is an area of harbour front that offers nice views of the sea and the ships. The retired liner Hikawa Maru is famous landmark of Yokohama. The ship has been retired from sailing and is now offering a walking tour for the public to see the workings of an Ocean Liner of the olden times.

Walk a bit further straight and you will be arriving at the Osanbashi Pier. We try to ride the Sea Bus as one of the best ways to enjoy the scenery around Yokohama. On the sea bus you can see beautiful scenery of Yokohama including the  building, and many famous tourist place.

Later on we move forward to Yokohama Cosmo World as well. This is really interesting amusement park in Yokohama. There are a handful of roller coaster rides, carnival attractions, a kid’s zone and a large Ferris wheel. Sadly, we only have a chance to ride the giant Ferris Wheel “Cosmo Clock 21″  because the limited time that we have. I imagine, the lights in the evening must be very colourful, the park is illuminated, and made the night view of the city even more pretty.

But you know, the day view is not too bad from the highest place in  our cabin, we still managed to take selfie our finger’s, shoe’s, and many things because the cabin is transparent, we can see clearly the view from every side inside the cabin ^ ^. Its really amazing experience for us.

It is the world’s first food-themed amusement park and was build on 1994. This is ultimately one-stop place to enjoy flavors of the famous ramens across Japan without stepping on a plane. There are 9 famous ramen shops inside the museum that are build with street-scape replication from year 1958 because instant ramen was invented that year.

Entering the museum was like entering time machine that brought us back to the Japan’s good old days in 1958. The decoration was really amazing and detailed, classic music was also played inside museum.

Okay, That concludes day 1!

I really enjoyed our time in Yokohama, there are so many interesting place like Yamashita Park, Yokohama Cosmo World, Ramen Museum and the Minato Mirai 21 area.  Yokohama is amazing and the scenery is beautiful, and I sure believe that you have to visit this area if you stop by at  Japan.  There would be lots to see if we go back. I love when you leave a place and wish you had more time there. I totally hope one day we can come back to Yokohama.
